Personally, I am looking forward to the release of Boro the Caterpillar, just as I am looking forward to Miyazaki’s next declaration of retirement, and the new feature film that will inevitably follow it.
Miyazaki began work on Boro as a short project last year, treating it as an opportunity to dabble with computer-generated animation as opposed to his widely recognized hand-drawn style.
The good folks at Kotaku have noted a report from Japanese publication The Kyodo News in which Miyazaki’s return has been confirmed, and that Suzuki would produce his next film.
