Over 150 Photos from Met Gala 2016

The Costume Institute’s spring 2016 exhibition, presented in the Museum’s Robert Lehman Wing, will explore how fashion designers are reconciling the handmade and the machine-made in the creation of haute couture and avant-garde ready-to-wear.

The stars came out last night for Met Gala 2016 (aka Met Ball), the annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City.

For Met Gala 2016, guests were expected to choose their fashion to match the theme of the exhibit.
