Of course, the real sell for this show is the fact that it will give DC lovers and fans of science fiction/fantasy a view into the world of Krypton that we’ve never really seen before.
So, it sounds like Kyrpton will be filled with a lot of personal intrigue (a.k.a. potentially hot sex) and troublesome political infighting, which fans of shows like Game of Thrones are sure to enjoy.
With the exception of the opening scenes of the 2013 film Man of Steel, the mess that was Krypton before baby Kal-El was sent off to live out his life under our yellow sun hasn’t been explored much on screen.
While facing the very real pressure of trying to regain some status for his house and keep Krypton from dying a messy and fiery death, Seg-El will be carrying on an illicit affair with Lyta Zod (Georgina Campbell), who is the daughter of General Alura Zod (Ann Ogbomo), and is a cadet in Krypton’s military.
