A Different World Sequel Series Earns Pilot Order at Netflix

It looks like Netflix‘s A Different World sequel series is making the grade.

The new Different World series, first announced as being in development last August, will follow Dwayne and Whitley’s youngest daughter as she attends Hillman College.

A Different World “was his idea,” Allen told THR, but there is “a studio and network situation where they can’t allow any money to go into his company.
