Now, it sounds like he got the go-ahead for a third and final season, and fans won’t have to worry that they’ll never get to see a full adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events.
He seemed less certain on a Season 3, but he did indicate that “the third season would be the rest of it.”
After the movie franchise failed to take off, it seemed like a TV show would be the way to do it.
Of course, the comments could have just been author showing optimism, but he went so far as to explain that the second season would be comprised of 10 episodes and tackle the events of the next five books in the saga.
