Speaking to AP Entertainment, Sorkin said: “First of all, I know a lot more about Facebook in 2005 than I do in 2018.
Sorkin said: “I’ve gotten more than one email from him with an article attached saying, ‘Isn’t it time for a sequel?’”
Sorkin won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for the film, while the film also won Best Original Score and Best Film Editing.
Aaron Sorkin has said he wants to make a follow-up to The Social Network. The 2010 film, written by Sorkin and directed by David Fincher, traced the rise of Facebook and the fate of its founder Mark Zuckerberg, played by Jesse Eisenberg.
