'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 4 Will Move Timeslots, 'Go a Little Darker'

We’ll see just how much darker Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. goes in a fourth season, perhaps embodied by the big death planned for tonight’s two-hour Season 3 finale.

Perhaps most intriguingly, the later timeslot will allow Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to “go a little bit edgier, go a little darker and take some risks,” per network heads.

Team Coulson will remain on Tuesdays, but airing in the latest possible primetime slot, and making some tonal changes while they’re at it.
