Comic book legend Alan Moore (Watchmen, Swamp Thing) has typically distanced himself (often angrily) from big-screen adaptations of his work.
Now, he’s written the script for a movie of his own, The Show, which will continue the stories he started telling in 2014’s short film series Show Pieces.
The soundtrack to The Show features original lyrics by Moore set to music by Adam Drucker and Andrew Broder working as Crook & Flail with help from a cast of vocalists including Tunde Adebimpe (TV On The Radio), Alan Sparhawk (Low) and Nona Invie (Dark Dark Dark).
It features a man — who looks a bit like Moore himself — playing ukulele on a crescent moon-like chair.
