Before American Horror Story reconfigured the TV anthology series, the format was previously perfected in the episode-to-episode change-ups of Rod Serling’s 1960s classic, The Twilight Zone, as influential a series as they come.
No word on how it’s going, but CBS hasn’t shelved it yet.
The latter did not last very long, and not even a decade passed before Bryan Singer and CBS teamed up for a new revival, although it’s been pretty slow going ever since that 2012 announcement.
