The upcoming Star Wars-based Disney+ series Andor will debut in a couple of months, and with a second season already planned, creator Tony Gilroy spoke about how the series is set to follow a five-year structure.
“Directors work in blocks of three episodes, so we did four blocks [in season one] of three episodes each.”
According to Gilroy, that specific shooting schedule is what led to them changing the structure a bit for the planned second season of the series, with the time jumps exciting the team behind the series.
Andor is executive produced by showrunner Tony Gilroy, who previously directed the reshoots for Rogue One.
