Scoob is expected to hit theaters on May 15, 2020.
A few weeks after landing Will Forte, Tracy Morgan and Gina Rodriguez for the project, Warner Bros. has signed on Neighbors‘ Zac Efron and Ted 2‘s Amanda Seyfried to star in the upcoming animated Scooby-Doo film, according to Variety.
He will next be seen in the upcoming comedy The Beach Bum alongside Matthew McConaughey, which is set to hit theaters on March 29, and Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, which is set to hit Netflix later this year.
The project, produced by Chris Columbus, Charles Roven and Allison Abbate, will bring back those pesky kids and their pal Scooby, all of whom were last seen on the big screen in 2004’s live action misfire Scooby-Doo 2: Monster’s Unleashed.
