New footage of Paul Rudd filming what looks to be a scene from the upcoming Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania has appeared, showcasing Rudd in what looks to be some sort of musical scene.
While Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania wrapped principal photography last year, this could be the crew getting some reshoots in, or perhaps just footage that wasn’t released until now.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is once again being directed by Peyton Reed from a screenplay written by Jeff Loveness, who is best known for writing the Emmy-winning episode titled “The Vat of Acid Episode,” on Rick and Morty.
The footage was released on Instagram, and shows Rudd walking down a sidewalk and what looks to be singing to himself or simply saying hello to everyone he passes while the song “Welcome Back” by John Sebastian plays, which is the iconic theme song for the television series Welcome Back, Kotter. While it’s unclear where in the film this takes place, many are theorizing that it might open the film to re-introduce Rudd.
