According to The Wrap, Emmy winner and comedian John Mulaney (Saturday Night Live, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) has been tapped to play transcendentalist writer Henry David Thoreau in Apple TV+‘s upcoming dark comedy series Dickinson.
Dickinson, written by Alena Smith (The Affair, The Newsroom), is Emily’s coming-of-age story — one woman’s fight to get her voice heard.
In addition to Mulaney, rapper Wiz Khalifa has joined the cast as Death.
