Filming is getting underway on director James Wan’s DC Extended Universe movie this week (starting with May 1st), Aquaman.
It was previously reported that Aquaman would start filming about three weeks into this month, but a fresh report on the subject reveals that production on the project is getting underway now, instead.
To everyone’s delight, it looks like production for the Aquaman solo film is not only on-track, but possibly a bit ahead of schedule.
“The filming of blockbuster Aquaman, starting this week at Village Roadshow Studios, will create more than 600 jobs and inject more than $100 million into the local economy as the city further cements its reputation as a filming destination.”
