Interestingly enough, both Seth MacFarlane and Peacock have both spent the past year and change putting work into reviving and rebooting older TV and film projects.
Meanwhile, MacFarlane is attached to new iterations of Smokey and the Bandit (TV), Good Times (TV), and Revenge of the Nerds (film).
I can’t honestly say I expected Ted to be the next TV continuation that both parties doubled-down on, but I guess foul-mouthed animals are meant to buck expectations.
Peacock released acclaimed returns for Saved by the Bell and Punky Brewster, with Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Queer As Folk and Vampire Academy reboots in the works.
