Ashley Johnson Reflects on Playing Ellie’s Mother in The Last of Us TV Show

  • Ashley Johnson is best known for playing Ellie in the video game version of The Last of Us (and its sequel), but she also got a chance to make an appearance in the season finale of the HBO show as Ellie’s mom, Anna.

  • She even noted on the official The Last of Us podcast that she cried when Neil Druckmann called her about it.

  • Johnson talked more about the opportunity and what it meant to be in this world once again but from a different viewpoint.
