According to Deadline, Aubrey Plaza, Christopher Abbott and Sarah Gadon have teamed up for Lawrence Michael Levine’s Black Bear, a film described as a “suspenseful meta-drama.”
The film follows an expecting couple (Gadon and Abbott) who must deal with an unwanted guest — a filmmaker (played by Aubrey Plaza) suffering from writer’s block who finds herself embroiled in a twisted love triangle.
Currently filming in the Adirondack Mountains in Long Lake, NY, the film will be financed by Productivity Media and Oakhurst Entertainment.
Plaza was recently seen in the remake of Child’s Play; Abbott was featured in the TV mini-series Catch-22; and played a prominent role in the recent season of True Detective on HBO.
