Now, the Edinburgh News reports that Avengers: Infinity War is about to move production to Scotland, beginning on Saturday, March 19. This isn’t a surprise, as a 6-month Scotland shoot was revealed as being in the works last month.
Initially billed as a two-part story, Marvel Studios eventually opted to present the two movies as separate entities, retaining the title Avengers: Infinity War for the third film only, with the fourth film still yet to be named.
Infinity War officially began filming back in January at Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios, with Captain America: Civil War directors Joe and Anthony Russo at the helm of an Avengers entry for the first time, following the departure from the MCU of Joss Whedon.
Each of Marvel Studios’ films in phase 1 of the MCU set more and more elements of the big team-up event into place, before the film went from geek fantasy to amazing reality in 2012.
