HBO has released the first teaser for director Cory Finley’s upcoming comedy-drama film Bad Education, starring Golden Globe winner Hugh Jackman (The Greatest Showman, Les Misérables) and Academy Award winner Allison Janney (I, Tonya).
The film had its world premiere at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival where HBO Films has won the distribution rights for $17.5 million.
Inspired by true events, Bad Education follows Frank Tassone and Pam Gluckin who reign over a popular Long Island school district on the verge of the nation’s top spot, spurring record college admissions and soaring property values.
