Deadline reports that Mike Vukadinovich has been tapped to write the latest draft of Beetlejuice 2, the sequel to Burton’s 1988 classic starring Keaton as the iconic ghost with the most.
Given how often the Beetlejuice sequel has been discussed in the press, we should have like, eight more of these movies by now.
Meanwhile, Keaton and Burton have another reunion in the works; the pair are currently filming Disney’s live-action remake of Dumbo.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies scribe Seth Grahame-Smith, who wrote a previous draft of the screenplay for Beetlejuice 2, remains on board to produce the long-developing sequel.
