Beetlejuice 2: Tim Burton comments on sequel, confirms he has spoken to Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder

However, in an actual interview with the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory director, Burton confirmed he had spoken to star Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder but “there’s nothing concrete yet”.
In other Beetlejuice news, there is a bar in New York opening which is entirely dedicated to Tim Burton and his films.
“I have talked to Michael and I have talked to Winona,” he told Collider.
Notably, last year, Ryder seemingly confirmed she would be reprising her role in the sequel, something that has obviously not materialised yet.
