Bill Maher, HBO Sued by Laura Loomer After Real Time Host Implies That She ‘Might Be’ Sleeping With Trump

  • Laura Loomer has filed a defamation lawsuit against Bill Maher and HBO after the Real Time host implied that the former Florida congressional candidate was involved in an extramarital affair with former president Donald Trump.

  • “I think maybe Laura Loomer’s in an arranged relationship to affect the election because she’s very close to Trump,” Maher said.

  • The suit stems from comments made during the Sept. 13 edition of Real Time.
