Mackenzie Foy (The Nutcracker and the Four Realms) and Oscar winner Kate Winslet (The Reader) will be starring in a new Black Beauty reboot, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Black Beauty has been adapted numerous times in the past for the small screen and the big screen.
Foy, whose credits also include Interstellar, The Conjuring, The Twilight Saga, and The Little Prince, will play a 17-year-old girl whose bond with Black Beauty helps her overcome the death of her parents.
The most popular is the 1994 film starring Sean Bean, David Thewlis, Alan Cumming, and directed by Caroline Thompson.
