Bryce Dallas Howard is set to make her feature directorial debut with a female-led reimagining of Flight of the Navigator for Walt Disney Studios, according to a recent report from The Hollywood Reporter.
Bryce Dallas Howard may be best known for her work as an actress, but she has been building up her resume behind the camera in recent years as well.
According to the report, Howard will produce the film for Disney+, with John Swartz and Justin Springer also attached as producers for the film.
The original 1986 children’s sci-fi adventure film told the story of a 12-year-old boy who gets abducted by a UFO.
