After more than two years since Call Me By Your Name had its theatrical release in 2017, award-winning director Luca Guadagnino has finally opened about the long-awaited sequel for his critically-acclaimed coming-of-age romance drama film.
Based on André Aciman’s acclaimed novel of the same name and directed by Luca Guadagnino, Call Me By Your Name is set in the summer of 1983 in the north of Italy.
Starring Armie Hammer, Timothée Chalamet and Michael Stuhlbarg, Call Me by Your Name was produced by Peter Spears, Emilie Georges, Guadagnino, James Ivory, Marco Morabito, Howard Rosenman, and Rodrigo Teixeira.
Speaking with Italian outlet Gay.it, Guadagnino has confirmed that the Call Me By Your Name sequel, which will be based on André Aciman’s 2019 sequel novel titled Find Me, is still in active development as he was supposed to go to America to meet its potential writer.
