Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet have signed on to star in the upcoming sequel to the hit independent film Call Me by Your Name.
“It is a great pleasure to work with Timothée Chalamet, Armie Hammer, Michael Stuhlbarg, Esther Garrel and the other actors,” he said.
Released in 2017, Call Me by Your Name told the story of a love affair between 17-year-old Elio (Chalamet) and his father’s research assistant Oliver (Hammer).
Call Me by Your Name, which also starred Stuhlbarg and Casar, is now often cited as a significant piece of mainstream queer cinema.
