Kurtzman recently signed a lucrative deal with CBS TV Studios for current seasons and future series, including a second upcoming Star Trek series for streaming service CBS All Access with Patrick Stewart reprising his role of Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
The Hollywood Reporter brings word that CBS TV Studios is entering final negotiations to bring the James Comey memoir A Higher Loyalty to the small screen in a miniseries format.
CBS TV Studios has not released any further comments on the deal, nor has a network been announced for the miniseries.
Alex Kurtzman, co-creator and executive producer of CBS series Hawaii Five-0 and Star Trek: Discovery, will be executive producing the series through his studio Secret Hideout alongside Shane Selerno and his studio The Story Factory.
