Chicago P.D. Spinoff Chicago Justice Ordered to Series at NBC

  • As the broadcast networks’ annual Upfronts Week nears, the fate of the last remaining “bubble” shows will be determined, as ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and The CW get ready to reveal their schedules for the 2016-17 TV season.

  • The Windy City officially just got more crowded: NBC has given a series order to Dick Wolf’s Chicago Justice, TVLine has learned.

  • The spinoff, which essentially launched with last night’s episode of Chicago P.D., follows the State’s Attorney’s prosecutors and investigators as they pursue justice.
