Countdown: Jensen Ackles To Lead New Thriller Drama From Prime Video

Supernatural alum Jensen Ackles has been tapped to headline Prime Video’s Countdown, an upcoming 13-episode thriller drama series from showrunner Derek Haas (One Chicago).
Deadline reported that Prime Video has greenlighted the series, with Ackles attached to lead.
Countdown will center on LAPD officer Mark Meachum (Ackles) as he gets recruited to join the investigation into a mysterious murder.
The project — created and executive produced by Haas — is said to be specifically developed for Ackles.
