Sylvester Stallone has confirmed he will direct Creed 2, the sequel to the boxing drama in which he starred alongside Michael B. Jordan.
”One more round!“ Released in 2015, Creed – a spinoff sequel to the Rocky franchise – was directed by Ryan Coogler who is currently working on Marvel film Black Panther.
The film was a box office success and saw Stallone, who reprised the role of Balboa, win a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor.
The actor announced the news via an Instagram photo of himself and Jordan who will star in the film as Adonis, the son of Rocky Balboa’s former rival Apollo Creed.
