Paramount Players has acquired the rights from Jakks Pacific to make a movie based on the Creepy Crawlers toy franchise.
According to Stephen Berman, Chairman & CEO of Jakks Pacific, the Creepy Crawlers movie will be “in the vein of Jumanji”.
ToyMax ceased making Creepy Crawlers in the early 2000s, which led to Jakks Pacific taking over, while utilizing the same molds that ToyMax used.
Yes, you read that correctly, there’s a movie in development that will somehow use Creepy Crawlers as the focal point.
