CW President Steps Down 2 Years After Nexstar Takeover; Entertainment Chief Brad Schwartz to Claim Top Spot

Dennis Miller, who has served as network president ever since The CW was acquired and taken over by Nexstar Media Group in October 2022, is stepping down from the top post effective Oct. 31.

Miller as network president oversaw The CW’s strategic transformation into a destination for live sports as well as entertainment programming.

Brad Schwartz, The CW’s current entertainment chief, will rise to the rank of network president upon Miller’s exit from the position.
