According to The Ankler, Emmy winner Damon Lindelof is reportedly developing a new movie in the Star Wars franchise.
The cast also includes are Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit), Joel Edgerton (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith), Bonnie Piesse (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith), Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Rupert Friend (Homeland), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Godzilla: King of the Monsters), Sung Kang (F9: The Fast Saga), Simone Kessell (Of Kings and Prophets), and Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems).
The rumor has not yet been confirmed by Lindelof or Lucasfilm, but it’s no secret that Lindelof is a big fan of the Star Wars Universe and has previously expressed interest in one day doing something within that franchise.
Along with Ewan McGregor reprising his iconic role, the series will also mark the return of Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader.
