Former Hawaii Five-0 star Daniel Dae Kim’s production company 3AD, which developed the adaptation of the Korean medical drama that became ABC’s hit medical drama The Good Doctor, is following up the successful series with First Rule of Ten, a show based on a mystery novel series by Gay Hendricks and Tinker Lindsay, Deadline reports.
From one of the men who brought you The Good Doctor comes a new show about a young monk trying to find himself in Los Angeles.
“The books tell a beautifully universal story from a uniquely Asian American perspective,” said Kim.
His path to self-realization is further complicated when he witnesses a brutal crime and ends up tangled in the investigation.”
