Deadpool 2 knocks Avengers: Infinity War off the box office top spot

Deadpool 2 knocked the film off the top spot with an estimated $125 million at the domestic box office, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

That said, Deadpool 2 did manage to pick up extra steam at the global box office, with its $301 million opening actually making it the biggest international debut ever for an R-rated film.

It’s also Fox’s biggest opening of all time internationally; impressive considering that’s without the help of China, where the film is yet to land a release date.
