Wolverine 3 opens in U.S. theaters on March 3rd, 2017, followed by unannounced X-Men films on October 6th, 2017 (possibly Gambit), March 2nd, 2018 (possibly Deadpool 2), and June 29th, 2018 (possibly New Mutants).
Of course, before Deadpool 2 can ever arrive in theaters, it has to actually get made.
During his appearance at the 2016 Saturn Awards, Kinberg revealed to Collider that filming on Deadpool 2 is likely to begin early next year.
With Reynolds, director Tim Miller and co-writers Rhett Rheese and Paul Wernick all set to return, there is little reason for fans to not expect Deadpool 2 to live up to the standards of the original.
