The film adaptation of HBO series Deadwood has finally begun production.
David Milch’s beloved Western series, which ended 12 years ago, is returning for a film set 10 years after the events of the third season.
The film, written by Milch, is being directed by Daniel Minahan whose credits includes Game of Thrones.
Deadwood ran for 36 episodes from 2004 to 2006 and won a total of eight Emmys.
