Oscar winner Dianne Wiest (The Birdcage) and Michael Pena (Ant-Man and the Wasp) have joined Clint Eastwood’s (Letters from Iwo Jima, Mystic River) newest project The Mule, the drama Eastwood is directing and will also star in, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
The Mule was written by Nick Schenk (Gran Torino) and Dave Holstein (Weeds, I’m Dying Up Here).
Production on The Mule began on Monday in Atlanta.
Easy enough but, unbeknownst to Earl, he’s just signed on as a drug courier for a Mexican cartel.
