Disney and Sony have reconciled for one more Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland – after a very public falling-out that suggested the superhero would no longer appear in Marvel movies.
The news comes as a complete reversal of a previous reported dispute between Disney, which owns Marvel Entertainment and Sony, which owns the movie rights to the Spider-Man character.
A previous deal had enabled the two studios to work together, bringing Spider-Man to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Holland, meanwhile, said he’d had the “time of [his] life” playing the superhero, adding: “Who knows what the future holds?”
