The graphic novel The Blacksmith is being developed into a drama series over at NBC.
He wrote and directed the 2013 sequel Kick-Ass 2, as well as worked on FX’s The Strain and AMC’s Bates Motel.
Universal TV will produce Blacksmith in association with Studio71, a digital media company and premium content studio, and Kickstart, the company behind the comic itself.
According to Deadline, director Jeff Wardlow (Truth or Dare) is adapting Malik Evans and Richard Sparkman’s tale of high-tech espionage for the small screen.
