It’s a must-have treat for any hardcore Drive fan, and a sublime way to celebrate the anniversary of a truly iconic moment in cinematic music.
We’re coming now to the fifth anniversary of Drive’s theatrical release; with Invada and Lake Shore Records concocting an extra special treat for fans, releasing the soundtrack on a special edition vinyl to hit stores this fall (via Indiewire).
Invada has stated, “From January 1, 2017 this anniversary variant will be deleted and the original version will be made available again.”
Martinez himself has continued working alongside Refn, contributing equally stunning scores to both Only God Forgives and this year’s Neon Demon.
