Emma Watson was among the winners at the MTV movie and TV awards, the first major film and TV awards ceremony to adopt gender-neutral categories.
In the ceremony’s other gender-neutral acting category, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown won the award for best actor in a TV show ahead of the likes of Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke and Atlanta star Donald Glover.
The British actor beat male performers including Hugh Jackman and James McAvoy to the award, which was presented by gender-neutral nonbinary actor Asia Kate Dillon.
Stranger Things also won the award for show of the year, while Beauty and the Beast was awarded movie of the year.
