Disney/Marvel’s Eternals held up surprisingly well at the domestic box office where the superhero epic earned $27.4M (-62%) in its second week of release, per Deadline.
Clifford the Big Red Dog gobbled up $20M over its first five days, which was better than the $15M-$17M Paramount/eOne had expected.
The film also debuted on Paramount+, which may or may not have hampered its ticket sales.
This week sees the release of the highly anticipated Ghostbusters Afterlife, and your guess is as good as mine how that film — releasing only in theaters — will fare at the box office.
