Final Destination is getting a reboot courtesy of Saw writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It proved to be a significant box office success, making $112m worldwide on a $23m budget, leading the franchise to release four more installments, ending on 2011’s Final Destination 5.
Meanwhile, New Line will this year release a third Annabelle film and It: Chapter Two, with the latter hoping to repeat the massive box office success of the first part of the Stephen King adaptation.
The film installment, released in 2000, was directed by James Wong and starred Devon Sawa and Ali Larter.
