Engaged to Leta, it looks like he’s still war ready on the behalf of the Ministry of Magic, and chasing Newt and his friends for some unknown reason.
Apparently, Dumbledore knows a good safe house to stay at, should one find themselves in the area; and as we all know, the city of lights is going to be an important location for Mr. Scamander in the film, so it’s good to know his mentor is looking out for him.
