The fourth season has continued to garner strong reviews from critics and even stronger ratings for the network, currently sitting at a 41 percent rise in total viewership from its previous season and averaging 5.1 total viewers per episode.
Shortly after passing the halfway mark for its fourth season, FX has elected to renew the acclaimed drug drama Snowfall, co-created by the late Oscar nominee John Singleton, for a fifth season.
Snowfall was created by Singleton & Eric Amadio and Dave Andron and is executive produced by Singleton, Amadio, Andron, Thomas Schlamme, Michael London and Trevor Engelson.
