Today marks the 35th Anniversary of Halloween III: Season of the Witch, perhaps the most controversial entry in the hit horror franchise.
While the first two Halloween movies followed the unkillable Michael Myers, Carpenter wanted to simply center the movies around the holiday moving forward.
Released on October 22, 1982, the film was John Carpenter‘s attempt at branching the series he created into a more anthology-style series.
