The Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises are among some of the most beloved franchises in cinema history, and Harrison Ford has now revealed why he finds both series very special.
Ford has been busy promoting the release of Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner: 2049, and in an interview with BUILD Series, the actor explained why he’s excited to play Indy one more time and what makes the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises different and special.
“[Blade Runner: 2049] is an adult adventure; Indiana Jones are family kind of films, and one of the great opportunities of my life is that Indiana Jones, Star Wars, stuff like that, gets passed on generationally.
Unfortunately, Ford can no longer return to the Star Wars franchise following the events of J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.
