Production on Lucasfilm’s long-in-development Indiana Jones 5 has suffered its first setback, with franchise star Harrison Ford sustaining a shoulder injury while rehearsing for one of the film’s many fight sequences.
“In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder,” a Disney representative said in a statement (via Deadline).
Indiana Jones 5 will star Harrison Ford as he reprises one of his most iconic roles as the titular explorer along with Emmy and Golden Globe winner Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who has signed up for the female leading role.
Further details about the severity of the 78-year-old actor’s injury hasn’t been disclosed.
