Harrison Ford will not be fined or lose his licence over his latest aviation mishap, US federal authorities have said.
In 1999, Ford crash-landed his helicopter during a training flight, though neither he nor his instructor were hurt in the incident.
Recordings later released by the FAA had Ford saying: “I’m the schmuck that landed on the taxiway.”
In 2000, Ford was forced to make an emergency landing at Lincoln Municipal airport in Nebraska while flying a Beechcraft Bonanza due to high winds.
